This is hilarious Frank – I don’t know why. Trust a Frenchman to know the word for womens underwear and not for mens’. Come to think of it, I don’t think there is a proper word – briefs, shorts, jocks, boxers (ah, that’s probably what you were wearing – swing-easys), none of them are really it. ‘Underwear’ is really the only all-encompassing word, and that’s a euphemism. Trust the English to have a word for women’s underwear, but to think that men’s underwear are unmentionable.

That’s what I was thinking.  She wouldn’t find my erection sexy.

ok :-) but I’m not sure it’s always appropriate. When slow-dancing, I think it’s ok to have an erection when she rubs herself on you on purpose… Else not. — "My hands are small, I know, but they’re  Not yours, they are my own"                                           Jewel.

I don’t think so. In the early stages of my relationship, I almost always had a semi-hardon when my gf was around. She found that very sexy. -M

This reminds me of something which happened to me years ago(when I was around 17).  I delivered papers at that time, and there was this one girl I really had a crush on.  Of course she wasn’t interested in me, but anyway, I was delivering the paper to her home one day and noticed her outside with a two-piece on.  She looked really sexy, and I had an erection and came within 5 seconds!    This has never happened to me again, but it did show me how much the mind can control that part of the body!

Zoe doesn’t have concepts of like and dislike. She’s a paid for commodity. The sooner a man gets hard the sooner she can take his money and kick him out of bed.

During all those times I went to dance clubs back in the 1980’s that I’ve posted about, I *always* wore a jock strap. I had plenty of them, since I ran and played tennis all the time. I almost always wore one whenever I went to a shopping mall, also. I even used to wear them sometimes when teaching as a graduate student, back in the 1980’s. I used to be *so* scared to death of being seen with a visible bulge! Fortunately, by the time I was in my early 30’s I didn’t have to take such drastic measures anymore. Virgo Cluster   "[12 Ways to Achieve Sainthood] (#8) St. Nicholas is the patron    saint of Russia, children, pawnbrokers, unmarried girls,    perfumers, and sailors. He was a bishop in south-western    Turkey at some point in the fourth century, and is purported    to have restored to full health three decapitated children.    St. Nicholas is also said to have been such a pious baby that    he abstained from his mother’s milk on Wednesdays and Fridays." << Karl Shaw, "The Mammoth Book of Tasteless    Lists", Carroll & Graf Publishers, 1998, p. 290 >>

Yup, I remember them simply not going away, no matter what!  I was very grateful when, after a year or two, it would at least sit down for five minutes at a time as I moved from one class to the other.  Then, right back up. Never mind all the spam trying to sell me v1.agra and sildenafyl citrate (sp?) and all this other junk I don’t need.  (I may have empathy for those who need it, but *I* don’t want the spam.)  I’d be more willing to read spam that advertised a magic sit-down solution, though.     It might turn her on, but it might also shock her. The real problem is that when sex is not on my (conscious) mind, I don’t want to send wrong messages. I’d like to have control over what message I send. Usually, when I’m slow-dancing and I like the girl, the message I want to send is "I like you, you are beautiful. I feel good with you. I’d like to kiss you, but I need to go slow. I’m a very romantic person". And not "the only thing on my mind is I want to fuck you".     The other problem is that I’m wearing a kind of underwear (the dictionary is far away) which lets the penis go wherever it wants, so it can even be seen by *other* people (not just the girl), even if it has just a subnormal size… So now when I go to a club (there are no slow dances anymore, anyway) I try to remember putting a different kind of underwear (dictionary far away, I guess I can’t say "panties" for a guy…) — "My hands are small, I know, but they’re  Not yours, they are my own"                                           Jewel.

Same here.  I remember back in high school this happened, and I got a backache because I was trying to keep from rubbing up against my partner with a stiffro.  Turns out I was in the wrong and she was turned on by rubbing against it, but anyway….

Nope.  Hell, even if I do think of them sexually, nothing’s going to happen if it isn’t the right time of day.  I only ever tend to get involuntary erections at around late morning/early afternoon, when I tend to get drowsy.

No. In fact I have never had an erection around a girl. Or a guy. They are stritcly a "me time" thing. I have never been able to relate to peoples’ tales of wood run awry. Have I missed out?
