Anyone know anything about Sauvage Jockstrap?

Question:

Got a catalogue recently that had the Sauvage jockstrap in it.  Does anyone know anything about this strap?  It seems to be a narrow band jock and maybe made of cotton? I like jockstraps, what men keep in them, and the men who wear them.

Response:

Sorry, no info. I’ve heard of them but never seen one! As usual would LOVE tom procure one for my collection, maybe more to wear if its really HOT! What cat. did you say it was in? Thanx. JB     PS: back in circ. after a <busy> summer.

Response:

I have a couple of these jocks. They’re 95% cotton, with about a one inch elastic waist band and 3/4 inch covered leg straps. Kinda small in the pouch, compared to the Bike elastic types.  Have to get a larger size than usual for this reason.  They come in black or grey.  I like to wear them for special occasions, like trips to the doctor’s office (female), when I know I’ll have to "drop trou."

It’s made by Sauvage in CA, USA.  You won’t find it very "supportive", it’s more for decoration and sex appeal <BG>!  Rather like the novelty jocks you find in places.  The cotton/lycra construction leave much to be desired in terms of true jockstrap function. You can get Sauvage stuff directly from them at a high price or you can find local or mail order retailers who carry the line.  I know of one or two shops in NY City who carry it, and at least one mail order place in CA. > I like jockstraps, what men keep in them, and the men who wear them.

When did you say your plane gets in? <hugs> AB

Would someone mind posting the name/address/phone of either Sauvage or the mail order catalog in which the jock was seen? I’d appreciate it at lot. Savage SwimWear 1927 Adams Ave# 101 San Diego, CA 92116 (619) 692-0656 Not sure if they are still in business, been a few years since I bought anything. I bought some thong briefs for my nephew one christmas. They weren’t crazy about the narrow string or small pouch, maybe I sholud have ordered the supporters. Thats a problem universal in underwear is a small pouch, thats what I like about jocks, more room for the family jewels and Kevins make him a crown prince <grin> Ironbody http://www.infi.net/~khard/

Sauvage is located in San Diego.  Try directory assistance for their phone number.

Response:

I just checked the Sandy Eggo phone book and found that Sauvage has moved to a new location/number. They are at (619) 514- 8229 They’re located at 3940 Ruffin Rd. I called and they said that they’re the same Sauvage which used to be located on Adams Ave and that they still make a jock strap.
